While your wedding day is typically more important than the date, each year we do have an outstanding amount of requests for certain popular wedding dates/months that are currently being entertained by another couple. Once your wedding date has been accepted we respectfully ask that each couple responds within 7 days after our initial point of contact so we can begin our proposal process.
If we have not heard back, we automatically re-open that date and roll our availability over to the next couple. Our most popular months are November, February, March and April.

In the event that your date is not available, we can add you to our waitlist, or will certainly recommend other florists for you to reach out to. We have many amazing florist we have worked with or admire and know their design standards and are happy to refer them!
No two floral events are ever the same, we repel cookie cutter events. Pricing factors are based on location and time of the year, your floral preference/floral season, guest count/requested arrangements. Production and labor based on the scope of your desired design.
Each proposal and quote has been customized to each client based on your specific floral needs and requests. We fully understand no two weddings/events are a like. Which makes it harder to have a standard set-in-stone pricing structure.
However, West & Rocks quotes do include our inclusive services:
A personalized design deck full of inspo and visuals
A customized quote which includes;
Our creation time
Pre-production labor (processing all your flowers)
Design logistics
Onsite labor
Preparatory work
Pre-production designs
Administrative time
Other expenses; including, but not limited to:
Delivery, set-up, transfers, decor repurposing fees, breakdown and retrieval on event day.
Your custom proposal will be valid for 3 weeks from the day you receive it.
Due to a high demand for our wedding services we place a courtesy hold on the date you have inquired for. We understand you may have just started shopping for florist and may not be ready to book at this time. For this reason, we respectfully ask for your feedback so we can release the hold on your event date for the next couple who has been waitlisted.
Additionally, just like fruit at the market, floral pricing may change with current demand and circumstances from our suppliers and flower farms. Unfortunately, the flower market fluctuates throughout various seasons. We can not guarantee that flower pricing from when you were quoted will be the same a month from now. We don't like to surprise our clients with additional fees due to unexpected surges, so to combat that we have a time limit on our proposals in the case that a new estimate need to be created.
Every florist has their own unique design style. Chances are if you found us, you like our style and work.
Our wholesalers do require us to place a minimum order of flowers, so our Floral minimums allow us to have a healthy budget to support our design. Our minimums includes floral design, flowers, travel and labor costs for pre-production, design, set-up and cleanup.
Set pricing would only work if we were to create the same designs over and over again, or having a set catalog of designs for you to choose from. This isn't the case for our brand as we like to create custom designs that bring our client's vision to life. Each design requires a different set of needs hence our pricing model needs to be able to accommodate this.
Specialty blooms have a higher cost than foliage so our minimum needs to be able to support that.
Yes! We have roots on the other side of the country, in California, and happily travel within the States as well as internationally. Travel fees do apply. Inquire today to check your destination date.
It's our goal to work within your chosen color palette, style and theme, rather than specific flowers. If you have a specific floral requirement, we will do our very best to source it.
Mother nature is unpredictable, and from time to time we are unable to supply the flowers we have quoted you or you have requested. In this instance, you will be notified, and a suitable flower will be substituted. We ask you to trust our knowledge and experience when making these substitutions, though you always have the final approval.
All substitutions and changes are only done as a last resort, and only when the reasons for doing so are reasonable and genuine. For example, if a certain bloom is unavailable or the flowers are below par and not in a condition to grace a wedding function, they are changed from West and Rock Designs side at no additional cost to you. Any substitutes will be on par with your original order. Meaning we will not sub out garden roses for baby's breath. We strive to provide the highest quality in floral choices for your wedding.
At this time, our floral studio space is shared with another artist, who works full time in the movie industry. Our studio is filled with proprietary props, information and production items that have been contracted under Non-Disclosure Agreements. For this reason, we are not allowed to have any other foot traffic in our space. In due time, we look forward to what the future holds for West & Rock.

Yes! While weddings do have a lot of moving parts, and logistics we still love working with clients from all ranges of life. We recommend our exclusive A La Carte menu and suggest ordering personal flowers.
There is a lot of variability when it comes to wedding flower prices. Some flowers/foliage cost most during various seasons, or when they're in a higher demand. The flower markets also increase their prices around major "flower holidays", when demand is at it's peak (i.e.: Mother's Day, Valentines, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter). So be thoughtful of those peak months.
Most of our couples can spend between $8,000 – $17,000+ on their wedding flowers. However, we suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget, but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, we would recommend allocating closer to 25-30% of your total budget to flowers.

We encourage you and your guests to take your flowers home so you can enjoy their magic for a little longer, just as long as any vases, candles, glassware and styling items hired from us are left behind.
If there are any larger installation, we will retrieve those and disassemble the installations back at our studio.
Any flowers left at pack-down have to be disposed of as every venue requires the space to be cleared - if you do not want them, they will be donated or go into greens waste.
Unfortunately, we can’t always accommodate last-minute changes - though we will always do our best! Trust that your initial decisions for your event day design are going to be beautiful. Big last-minute changes can result in additional fees that we don't want to charge you and know you don’t want to pay, so let's work together to establish a floral design you love and are confident in a few months before the big day!
We have worked at multiple Southwest Florida venues over the years so it may not be necessary. However if we believe there is reason for a venue design meeting/visit ie: private location or logistically challenging, then we will visit the site with you.
Yes, and most venues require this from all of your vendors. We carry and hold General Liability and are a Limited Liability Company following all Florida State regulations.

We’re always so humbled to hear that you love our unique style and designs. We wish we could say yes to everyone who requests our services for styled shoots, and do hope you understand when we have to say no.
We try to limit these engagements to calendar periods which are typically less busy for us.
Our rental collection is of course available to rent for styled shoots, waiving our minimum order threshold. Please feel free to request more information, or check out our partnerships to see if that might be a good fit for you.
